Transfer Operators Drive Efficiencies

Fidelio PMS Solution Now Available

June 2012

The development of new technology to enable hotels using the Fidelio PMS to extract and load all invoices in minutes is now available. The development and testing of this new technology has been completed with the support of Accor Hotels and is now available for adoption all hotels using the Fidelio PMS.

Flight Centre Global Product (Infinity) Joins Spurwing

May 2012

Flight Centre (Global Product), one of Australia’s leading travel wholesalers is now an active distribution partner and has nominated Spurwing as one of its preferred format for receiving invoices from its Australian suppliers.

Flight Centre (Global Product) has implemented an direct data feed interface which allows Spurwing invoices to be automatically received, read, reconciled and made ready for payment with any manual input.

FCGP has also automated supplier notifications for when the invoice is received and approved and for what amount. This series of automated communications has been implemented to assist supplier knowledge re the status of invoices and payments and in doing so, reduce supplier email and phone enquiry levels relating to invoice receipt & payments – a significant time and costs savings for all parties.

Accor New Zealand to Commence Pilot

May 2012

Accor New Zealand will commence piloting Spurwing in April following a successful Australian roll-out. Most Australian Accor hotels using the Opera PMS are now distributing invoices electronically, whilst hotels using the Fidelio PMS will move from paper to electronic invoicing shortly when the Fidelio PMS solution is released.
